I’ve mentioned Vinny’s Seasoning a number of times already, so let me share it here. Like the Frank’s Red Hot commercial, “I put the BLEEP on everything”.
It started out more than 10 years ago when a friend and I were working on a burger restaurant concept. We were discussing the notion of foods and flavors that seem to make certain foods like crack cocaine for so many people. Think about McDonald’s Big Macs, Chic-fil-A and Kentucky Fried Chicken. They all have their own unnique combinations of ingredients, but we were certain that the big constant in all of them is salt, followed by a bit of cayenne pepper. Not really sure what is in all of them after that, but after some experimenting, we settled on celery seed or celery salt. That’s it, three ingredients mixed to the heat level you like.

We use sea salt as the base (70%)

Cayenne Pepper (20%)

and celery salt (10%).
Put it in a shker and shake and roll to mix evenly. Add a little rice to keep it from absorbing moisture as you sprinkle it over steaming food.
That’s it. Soon, I suspect you will put that BLEEP on everything.
